Tarah Reed is the Executive Director of NW Collaborative, a Portland-based nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, addiction, and sex trafficking. Since founding the organization, Tarah has been unwavering in her commitment to addressing the region’s growing need for essentials, clean clothing, and comprehensive support for the most vulnerable populations.

A Portland resident since 1999, Tarah has consistently demonstrated her passion for community service. Whether through volunteer efforts at her church, her children’s schools, or other social organizations, she has built a reputation for rallying people around meaningful causes. Her ability to unite individuals and resources has been pivotal to NW Collaborative’s success.

With over 17 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Tarah has also honed skills in business ownership and leadership through her studio, Thrive Massage & Bodyworks PDX. This experience complements her nonprofit work, allowing her to manage projects with efficiency and compassion.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Tarah enjoys golfing, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is married to a supportive husband and is the proud mother of four children. Whether working on a new initiative or connecting with others in the community, Tarah remains steadfast in her mission to create positive, lasting change.
